More common to freezing climates than to the Las Vegas Valley, hydronic heating systems are gaining in popularity due to their safety and efficiency. Similar to the more common heating system, boilers, hydronic heating is a safe, and economical way to heat any home. Circulating hot water through heater devices, hydronic systems help heat find it’s way to you through through warming baseboards, radiators and radiant tubing in your floors or ceilings.
With the use of modern hydronics technology, heat can be delivered precisely when and where it is needed. Hundreds of system configurations are possible, so the options are flexible and obtainable in most systems. Well- designed and properly installed hydronic systems provide unsurpassed comfort and fuel efficient heating for the life of the building.

Swamp Coolers & Evaporative Coolers
Using less than 50% of the power of a conventional A/C unit, swamp coolers or evaporative coolers are energy efficient, effective alternatives for cooling your home or business during those long, hot summer months. As an added bonus, these coolers both add a slight amount of humidity, which is always welcome in the dry, arid desert we have here in the Las Vegas Valley. They also offer an air filtration benefit that many business and home owners enjoy.
Swamp & Evaporative Cooler Maintenance: A Must
Just like tuning up your air conditioner unit, swamp coolers and evaporative coolers should be routinely maintained during the spring heat up that usually happens in Southern Nevada in the March month. Having your cooling system tuned up before you want to use it will ensure the highest level of efficiency, reduce the number of repairs, and extend the life of the unit.
Swamp or Evaporative Cooler Repairs
While maintenance can help extend the life of your air conditioning unit, repairs may need to be made from time to time. If you notice an increased amount of electricity is needed to operate your unit or system, or it is not operating as efficiently as it once did, it probably needs repairs. When problems emerge, any time of the day or night, contact Jenni Plumber and one of our highly skilled technicians will inspect and repair your unit.
Even in a climate known for heat waves and triple digit temperatures, home owners and HOAs with pools likely have a heater associated with them. This should allow you to use your pool for a few extra weeks a year, and make it more tolerable before the season allows. Often pool heaters are powered by natural gas, and therefore require specific training to inspect, install, repair and replace.
Pool Heater Maintenance
With proper maintenance your pool heater should last for many years without issue. The unfortunate truth is that most people don’t get their pool heaters maintained often enough and end up paying higher rates for costly repairs. We suggest having your pool heater inspected and maintained at the same time of year as you do your air conditioning unit. After all, if you are thinking about turning on your A/C your pool is likely next to be used as the weather rapidly heats up in the Las Vegas spring.
Pool Heater Repairs & Replacement
Using your pool company to repair or replace your pool heater is a common mistake we see at Jenni Plumber. Most pool service providers don’t have the proper training necessary to inspect or troubleshoot your pool heater. In fact, a gas pool heater is likely to be the most complicated piece of pool equipment on your pool equipment pad. Having a properly trained gas service trained plumber inspect, repair and replace your system is your best bet.
Pump Service & Lift Stations
Sewage lift stations and simple stormwater pumps can help keep those flash floods to divert, as long as they work when they need to. Because of the debris that might flow through these stations, they should be maintained regularly to replace any broken parts, and help clear the way for the next flash flood.
What Do Pumping Stations Do?
Pumping stations, pump water or “lift” water that would otherwise not flow. Here in Las Vegas that amounts to a LOT of water where you don’t want it. To keep that water flowing, and moving towards the various reservoirs and into the storm drainage system where it can head out to Lake Mead.
Testing & Maintenance
Periodic maintenance and repair is needed to make sure your lift station works properly. One or more of the pumps can fail causing your whole system to malfunction. At Jenni Plumber our skilled plumbers are available to inspect and repair your pump service or lift station, before the next rain.
